vincentlg2007 498
In Game 12 of the Wjc, Canada faced the entire flipping world. After 2 poor periods posting 7 and 5 shots each against a 17 and 16 for team world. Despite that, the score was still 1-1. Canada finally woke up in the 3rd putting 21 shots against the world's 8. Yet, the score was 3-1 for Team world who scored on 2 of the 8 shots they took in the 3rd. A sad result for Canada to say the least. Keno Akara was the man for team world putting up 1 goal, 2 assists, 6 shots, 3 hits, 1 shot blocked for 3 points. vincentlg2007 498
In game 14 of the wjc, Canada faced the entire flipping earth again after their 3rd period disaster in their last game. This around, both teams came to play in the first 2 periods with 24 shots for Team World and 29 shots for Canada. The score after 2 periods was even at 3-3. Similarly to last time, Canada took the upper edge in the 3rd putting 20 shots against only 6 for the world. But no goal was scored se we were heading to overtime. A very tied overtime ended with 5 shot to 4 for Canada but no goal was scored so it was time for shootout. Keita Kourou started the dance for team world but Ross Glagau was there to stop it. Canada replied by sending Don Aven but his shot missed the net. But team world didn't have the time to laugh because the mvp of their last game Keno Akara was here to take his shot. I said that they didn't have the time to laugh because similarly to Don Aven, Akara also missed the net. Canada also sent in an important figure of their last encounter, it is Tim Riggins the man who scored Canada's only goal in game 12. It's bis repitita for him as he scores the only goal of the shootout because Mason Rice of team world missed his shot.
