badcolethetitan 921
The Offseason ft. Siyan Yasilievich An unlikely story while relaxing Siyan Yasilievich is coming off of a continental cup, making the miracle run from the wildcard play-ins round all the way to winning it all. He took down many familiar opponents on his path, but one thing is for certain, he had a fantastic team to do it with. Siyan put up 26 points in 23 games played with a +7 in the playoffs, his best performance of his entire career. Now though, Siyan is taking his time off in London, enjoying the nice cool water and relaxing on the beach. When he had his day with the cup, he ended up traveling home, bringing it to his family and friends, taking multiple pictures with them and the cup. He said it was a "once in a lifetime" experience and that he will never be able to do something like that ever again. Regardless though, Siyan was on the beaches of London and enjoying the nice cool breeze, when he was approached by a young child who walked up to him holding a jersey. The kid was no older than five years old and Siyan was confused at first as the kid seemed very shy and nervous. The kid asked Siyan, "I'm a big fan of you and I saw you lying down on your chair.. can you please sign my jersey", as he held out a London United jersey with Yasilievich's name and number. Siyan was extremely shocked and slightly emotional as this was the first time someone walked up to him in public for an autograph in London. In Davos, people knew who Siyan was and he would sign autographs or take pictures all the time, but in London, he wasn't as well known since he was a newcomer to the team. Of course, Siyan signed the jersey for the child and also took a picture with the family who eventually caught up to the child who was running as fast as he could to see Siyan. Siyan then asked the young couple what the kids name was, to which they said, "Alex, he's a little troublemaker, but he's a huge hockey fan and he hopes one day that he can play just like you!" Alex also added that he hoped that he could be "just as good as Siyan, maybe even better", one day. Siyan had tears forming in his eyes before he wiped them away and he told Alex that if he kept at it, he too could one day become a superstar! The young couple then thanked Siyan and they walked away holding Alex's hand who was wearing the autographed jersey on his back as they walked off into the distance, until they couldn't be seen anymore. Siyan then sat back down on his chair with the ocean splashing up against his feet. He then inhaled, looked into the distance at the sunset, smiled, and exhaled. He knew this was the pinnacle of his career and nothing could beat this moment.
