Advantage 2,891 Posted June 12, 2023 Share Posted June 12, 2023 Jensen Drafted by Malmo This evening saw the Season 89 VHL Entry Draft play out, and it was Viktor Jensen that would see himself taken 1st Overall by the Malmo Nighthawks. The pick would headline what would be a fun-filled affair in what was expected to be one of the most unpredictable drafts in recent history. Jensen will join the Nighthawks right out the gate and will likely be a fixture on the 2nd line. It will be a challenging role for the rookie, who is coming off a strong 40 goal campaign for Houston of the VHLM. Despite those challenges though, he certainly sounds ready: "I am absolutely thrilled to be a member of the Nighthawks and I can't wait to show the rest of the VHL why they took a chance on me."
