After having quite the nice start to the season, reporters in Calgary were sure to ask Lloyd Braun what changed between seasons to transform him into a decent contributor for the team. While his shooting percentage is leaving a lot to be desired in the finishing department of his game, there is no denying that Braun is a solid piece of the Wranglers core as we approach the halfway mark of the season.

"I've done a lot of learning over the years in Calgary," said Braun. "There are a lot of talented players I've gotten the opportunity to play with and learn from and I think it's just clicking this season finally. I put a lot of pressure on myself to be the best player that I can be for Calgary and I think that mindset was doing more harm than good. I now know the kind of player I am and where I can help the team. I just make sure to do what I can to keep the puck moving the right way and make sure that I'm not causing more harm than good for the guys. I'm really honoured to have the opportunity to play here and will keep working to improve."
