High Five to Mason Jones!

By the time that today’s games are over, there is one HC Davos player who is breaking his own record.  Not only that, he’s reaching a milestone by playing his 500th game in the VHL.  Mason Jones, @Masu Chan, has been a leader of HC Davos for six seasons and is retiring at the end of the season.  Tonight’s game is special for Mason Jones.  If he scores two points, he breaks his single season record.

 

Looking at Mason Jones’ career, there are a few things that clearly stick out.  Mason Jones is a team player.  He is a consistent scorer and yet maintains a steady number of assists.  Mason Jones is dependable to be on the ice, getting far fewer penalty minutes than his teammates.  He can be counted upon at every part of the game, with hits and blocked shots.  One of the features of Jones’ ability is his penalty shots.  Mason Jones leads the team season after season in penalty shots.  He shoots, he scores!!

 

With five games remaining, Mason Jones is sure to break his personal best, but lets give Jones a big high five and wish him the best on breaking his personal best in his 500th game.  Good luck buddy.  Thunder is going to miss you on the ice.
