Spanish Moon Moth has minimal impact going into the postseason

Recommended Posts

The pace of the VHLM has been difficult to adjust to for one Spanish Moon Moth. It’s been 21 games thus far for the vivid green moth (that’s totally a human), and thus far he’s managed a paltry 6 assists with zero goals scored. His one saving grace going into the playoffs has been a solid +5 plus-minus despite limited minutes, as well as 6 shots blocked. It’s a testament to Spanish Moon’s defensive prowess while playing centerman for the Hounds, but also a damning indictment of his awkward presence on the ice and limited experience in the Isle of Man prior to being selected in the VHLM draft.

“I’d love to have a positive impact on the ice, that much is obvious,” commented Spanish Moon, who shook his wings gently after a pretty physical game to cap off the season, “but have you tried to move around with these things? Come on, man. If I can score a goal this post season it’ll be a miracle until we figure out what to do with them.”

A bewildered journalist after the interview swears that he saw Spanish Moon Moth lift off and fly away, but this has not been substantiated by any video evidence.
