Kadachi off to a lightning start

The off season was a painful wait for Toby Kadachi, from that early exit in the playoffs and than almost sliding into the third round in the draft he felt like had something to prove this season, and he certainly has sent a message early on. In 11 games so far Kadachi has put up 15 points and 9 goals, the 9 goals ties him for second currently. What's crazy to remember is that Kadachi had 7 points in the first 2 games of the season, including a hat trick, scoring five goals over a two game span. While things have slowed a little for him it is understandable, he's playing on a depleted roster, he's getting plenty of ice time but also the toughest match ups. While he does have some back up with Joshua Schwarzer, who is outscoring him with 20 points, and Luna Everdeen who has 17 points. There isn't much depth beyond that, other players are struggling to find their footing. It'll be a long season for sure, but it is good to see Kadachi is enjoying being back on the ice and that's he's showing the league what he's capable of.
