Logan meets some neighbors after a game

 "Yeah I'll be home from the game in about an hour or so" Logan Foley tells his wife Izumi after a home Seattle Bears game "yeah that was a very nice goal from me wasn't it? I hope dad was watching that, he taught me that technique"

 

 "Yeah very nice goal" Izumi says as she eats her dinner of a baked potato and pulled pork "also our neighbors made this really nice pork for the neighborhood potluck, and I brought some home with me"

 

 "Aww that was today? I completely forgot all about that. Sorry honey" Logan admits shamefully 

 

 "Don't worry about it, we all turned on the game at Sara's house" Sara is one of their new neighbors in Seattle that have been the most welcoming to them both "I'm pretty sure that they understood why you couldn't come this time"

 

 "Oh well that's good" Logan smiles "anyways I gotta get on the way to getting home, do you want me to get you something on the way?"

 

 "Yeah please get me some mint chocolate chip ice cream, I've been craving something with mint"

 

 "I'll be sure to honey. See you soon!" Logan gets in his SUV as he says that, having kept the same SUV for years because he felt no need to put money into a completely new one when his old one has worked so well for him. He soon drove up to a local grocery store to pick up the mint ice cream Izumi wanted so much, and tried his best to blend into the crowd so that not too many people bothered him on his way. Unfortunately for him, his big brown beard gave him away as he was approached by an excitable kid.

 

 "Oh my gosh you are Logan Foley!" The kid says as he smiles at Logan. Logan inwardly sighs as he puts on the best friendly smile he can based on how tired he was "can you sign my hat? Please?" 

 

 "Hey Benny, don't just go up to him like that!" What looks like Benny's mom comes up to them both and talks to Logan "I'm sorry, I know that you must have just come from a game because you look quite tired. I was watching it with the rest of the potluck before we headed to the store."

 

 "Oh you were in a potluck?" Logan smiles "was it the one my wife was in? The neighborhood was Potters Street"

 

 "Oh yeah it was!" The woman says "right Izumi was there. She was super nice, but I do think she hasn't fully adjusted to life in America as of yet."

 

 "It has not been too long since we had to move" Logan shrugs "the move was kind of unexpected because the trade came out of nowhere. Luckily the Bears organization was very helpful with the move and everything seems to be working out far"

 

 "That is nice to hear. My name is Abigail by the way, and like I said this is my son Benny"

 

 "Well you already know my name is Logan Foley." Logan says as he signs Benny's hat "Benny next time don't just ask for an autograph out of nowhere when you meet a celebrity unless they are doing an autograph signing"

 

 "I understand Logan" Benny says as he holds that hat close

 

 "Be sure that you do" Logan says as he starts to go to pay for his ice cream "anyways I'll talk to you later ok?" 

 

 "That sounds good, see you Logan!" Abigail says as they wave him goodbye.
