As we reach the first quarter mark of the VHLE season, Bratislava Watchmen rookie and assistant captain Harry Callahan takes a moment to reflect on the season so far. Competitively this season, it's been a mixed bag for Bratislava. Through the first 16 games of the season, the Watchers are 9-7, sitting in 4th place in the standings with 18 points. They're 2 points back of 3rd place Cologne, and 3 points up on 5th place Rome. That includes a 4 game losing streak to start the season, and win streaks of 4 and 3 mixed in. With Bratislava looking to continue adding win streaks while avoiding losing streaks, there is a push for consistency to settle in as we enter the second quarter of the season.

Hoping to continue his consistent ways is Harry Callahan, who has started the season tied for the team lead in goals and points with second year forward Otis Boudreaux Jr. Through the 16 games to start the season, Callahan has points in 14 games, providing an almost nightly offensive contribution to the Brats. He is 9th in points, 5th in goals, 5th in shots, 3rd in powerplay goals, and 2nd in game winning goals in the VHLE this season, and will hope to continue to remain highly ranked in those categories throughout the season.
