Kingma picks up slack; makes name for himself

The Bern Royals made some high profile moves at the trade deadline, sending superstar center Jody 3 Moons to the Bratislava Watchmen and Jaime Hill to the Oslo Storm. Kingma, a FIRST GENERATION power-forward right winger, has been left along with Earl Parker and Sam Teibert to retain the prestige of the Royals for the remainder of the season. Although the Royals' record has been sub .500 since the trade deadline, Kingma has been putting up strong numbers. He's scored 9 goals and 7 assists and has put up multiple point games including a six pointer against the Red Wolves (3G, 3A). 

 

Kingma is currently projected to go in the first half of the second round in VHL Entry Draft. However he should be a top 3 pick in the VHLM DIspersal Draft. He hopes to remain with the Royals next year, but will be prepared to play for whoever takes him in the draft.
