PEB and Helsinki come out firing!

The playoffs have begun in the VHL and my dark horse pick in the EU, Helsinki, are off to a great start.  I was happy to see my old defense partner, Pierre Emile Bouchard @Gaikoku-hito is having a great season and came out firing in the first two games against Malmo.

 

Since being traded from Vancouver, PEB has found his groove this season with 14g 72a 86pts with 177 hits and 133 blocked shots.  86 points is his second highest point total.  PEB should be in the running for some trophies this season based on his play and ending #2 in total points for defensemen, 3 points behind Skor McFleury.  PEB has been a great addition to this club and is always a great locker room leader.  

 

Helsinki has some great defense with PEB, Kronchy Kardashian, YaBoi Oven, and Tommy Sleeves.  And they are going to need them to play lights out in the always tough EU Division.
