Girts 1,106
Guntis Gavilrovs and the Houston Bulls ended their incredible season with a very tight 7 game series against the eventual champs the Saskatoon Sonsabitches. The Bulls were up in their series 3-2 and the Sonsabitches came back and won game 6 in 5 overtimes, yes five, then won game 7 in a tight one. Unreal and understandable nickname for an otherwise great organization. Either way the Bulls and Gavilrovs had a great playoffs and were tought to beat. Gavilrovs led the team in scoring with 12 points in 13 games, 3 goals and 9 assists. Guntis also had 44 hits and 23 blocks in the 12 games. A very strong playoffs for a the big Latvian defenseman. He now looks on to the S91 draft where he's expected to be one of the better Dmen in the draft class. Guntis will likely move on from the Bulls next season assuming he plays in the VHLE or VHL, but he loved his time in Houston and his GM's and teammates were fantastic! Will always be a Bulls fan and proud alum! Scurvy and jacobcarson877 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/143187-gavilrovs-bulls-season/ Share on other sites
