TPE Earners

 

The Quadruples Week for S40 has been extended for new members only! If you join before the Dispersal Draft you are eligible to get the 4x payout for your weekly PT. This doesn't count against your 3 new member double PT payouts.

 

VHLM Achievement Tracker is closed. If you haven't yet done so, you can still claim your (maximum) 20 TPE.

 

Announcements

 

The Seasonal BoG address by Devise was put out today. Lots of good stuff in there on the future of the league as well as some changes made this season.

 

The off-season is underway, and you can see what's coming next on the schedule. It is pinned so you should find it easily, but in case you missed it.

 

Rookie Profiles/Biographies have been tweaked a bit to help separate the two. Check out the differences and if you've started either of them, finish it up and turn it now under the old rubric before the new one takes hold.

 

A new feature for the HoF, Noah has released a new set of magazines for the original HoFers. A cool concept and we look forward to seeing more of them.

 

Season 40 Playoffs are finished! The S40 Founder's Cup Champs are the Bratislava Watchmen ! Congratulations to both the Watchmen and the Saskatoon Wild for their great performances in an exciting finals.

 

Keep an eye out on the job postings, recently there were two openings in the field of writing, one for grading and the other for the VHL mag. A job is a good way to contribute to the league and help keep the wheels spinning, on top of earning some extra TPE.

The VHL has their Instagram account up and running. Just for following with your account, you get +1 TPE. Simply follow them and then post in the thread. There's also a two PT opportunities you can take a look at in the thread. Good to see social media expanding for the league.

 

Media

Here are some media spots and Fan590s I was looking at I thought you guys might find to be funny or a good read.

 

Edition 58 of On the Rise is out, the mag crew works really hard on it so make sure you check it out if you aren't. They seem to post a new edition on Monday, so read that in a hurry, then check out the new one in the next few days.

 

Kyle Kingma was recently named the new GM of the Ottawa Lynx and released this statement on the matter. Congrats again Kingma!

 

Hashtag Jeffership does an interview and shares the story behind his unique name and some of his outlook into his future in the VHL.

Graphics

 

We'll take a quick look at some signatures. These are all made by users and we think these are really well done and recommend you check them out and other submitted sigs on ideas on how to make your own better.

 

The bias is real. Jody 3 Moons created this banner to celebrate the Watchmen winning the Founder's Cup. Obvious reasons why we like it.

 

Mook's back with another GIF sig. Very simple but looks great in conjunction with the rest of the sig. Well done as always.

Games

 

The game that tied the series at 2-2 and was the turning point for Bratislava was game 4 where it ended 4-3 for the Watchmen.

 

The Cup winning game was a tight affair that wasn't decided until the third when the Watchmen scored to make it 4-3.

VHLM Playoffs Corner

 

Woo! Predicted the entire playoffs correctly! With the season coming to an end a big congratulations going out to the Bratislava Watchmen for winning the Founder's Cup and the Riga Reign in capturing the Continental Cup.

 

Also a congratulations to all teams on their years. Some had better years then others, but everyone should be proud of how your team and your player did.
