NickSunderbruch 392
I have a short list of players to cover this week. More specifically a list of forwards in the VHLM who I think are going to excel in this coming season. I'm mostly going to go by TPA for this list and I'll also sprinkle in some of my own In Universe Lore as well. As always this edition of Nicks Picks are going to be completely arbitrary and fueled by blinkers off my pen, and a ton of caffeine as well. So without further ado lets get this drug fueled rant from the leagues resident Florida Man out of the way. I hope y'all enjoy. So to get this list started I'd like to go over these guys all at once and talk about the TPA totals first and what that might mean for this upcoming season. So to get this ACTUALLY started, we have Dorji Khan 200 TPA a left winger out of Halifax, this won't be our last player out of Halifax, and further proves just how strong this team is going to be. Next we have Robin Sierra 187 TPA center out of you guessed it, Halifax, a potent offense that will be tough to stop. After him we have Nicholas Sunderbruch Jr 179 TPA out of San Diego, probably the next best team behind Halifax, and Sunderbruch should be a contender for many awards this season. Next up we have Gabriel Finley 169 TPA Left winger out of Mexico City, our first and only player from Mexico, he's going to be a tough one for these VHLM defenses to stop as well. And finally we have Captain Nugget Jr 155 TPA a right winger ouf of Saskatoon, our only right winger on this list as it seems the right wing has been a little barren this season in terms of depth and quality, but Nugget can hang with the best of them. I believe that Dorji Khan has the potential to be a star right away and is probably already ready for the E and if I'm correct he's probably got his eyes aimed at the cup for his final season in the M. And really, who can really blame him? People want to go to Halifax to win, especially this season where out boys in the north are absolutely loaded, and ready to make a deep run this season. Khan is probably our strongest player on this list (for now) and has a chance to really light it up this year, especially with such a solid group of players on offense, he should make and already good offense incredibly potent, especially with Robin Sierra and Ty Duke on his team. Those two players especially need to be looked out for and I'll be following their seasons incredibly close this year. I think the only team who can really challenge them this year is going to be San Diego truly, the two juggernauts of the league in my most humble opinion. I also believe that Nick Sunderbruch Jr could be the truth, the savior of the VHL as time goes on, but as of right now his career is in it's infancy, and I believe as it stands he's the savior of the VHLM as well, I mean look at him. Strongest jawline in the league, the most beautiful eyes in the league, nicest abs in the league, and probably one of the best face off specialists in the league. Sunderbruch is going to be an absolute monster when the first puck drops this season and I'm absolutely thrilled to see the spawn of the legendary Nick Sunderbruch hit the ice and absolutely decimate the record books. Goalies shake in their boots when they see this massive beautiful hockey legend from Tampa Florida skating towards them with the puck in his possession, hell most of them move out of the way to avoid the injury that comes along with his 1500 kmh slapshot that's known to break the sound barrier and shatter the glass along the rink. Sunderbruch could very well end up winning it all this season, and it helps that the team around him is a bunch of superhumans as well. Gabriel Finley is a prospect to look out for, could be capped in just a couple of weeks, and will absolutely be a menace once the season rolls around, the man is looking to bring the cup back to Mexico City to prove that hockey truly does belong in the desert, because in his eyes; no ice? No problem. I'm truly hoping to see this guy succeed and I look forward to watching his career in the minors unfold, I think he's a truly special player on an offense that might need him to step up and be the super star that we know that he can be. Here at Nicks Picks we like to keep things as civil as possible, but this kid can fucking play. In that vein I also believe that Captain Nugget Jr is going to be a problem for defenses this year as well, my old teammate from Vegas, I think he's going to be absolutely insane this season, and I can't wait to see how much of an impact he's going to make this year jumping up to the first line. I think he has the potential to just as good if not better than most of the guys on this list. He has a nice goal scoring touch, and an attitude in the locker room that makes any guy want to lay down on the ice and block shots, because he truly is that type of leader, that anyone would gladly take a shot to the mouth for. I hope you all enjoyed this article, it took me a little bit to write it considering I'm always a work and tired these days. So I probably didn't have quite the same quality behind it as I usually do, and to be honest I posted this way early by mistake in the process of writing my second paragraph and I'm incredibly embarrassed by that. Either way, I thank you all for reading this weeks edition of Nicks Picks and I hope you all had as much fun reading it as I did writing it. Anyways I think I hear my dad coming home from the bar, I need to grab my helmet and jock strap. Stay warm and stay icy, Seacrest out. 1,076 words Edited May 31 by NickSunderbruch Oddpurplefly, Thunder, LucyXpher and 1 other 2 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/148637-nicks-picks-vhlm-forwards-to-keep-an-eye-on/ Share on other sites
