Sjin 188
The VHLM, well where do I begin. I've got a lot of opinions when it comes to this league. As someone who originally intended to spend the entirety of their career playing for the San Diego marlins. This however was cut short by the commissioners of the league unfortunately. Yes, I'm still a little salty about it. However, it did lead to some interesting developments within my own career. Winning the renaissance cup playing for my own team the Cologne Express. Meaning that my player had won cups in two leagues now. Whilst my career with London has been strong, being a part in the team reaching the finals two seasons in a row we have yet to be able to win it all truly cementing my player as a champion winning in all three leagues. Perhaps this season? who really knows... This was all made possible by the VHLM commissioners so whilst my dream of becoming the all time scoring leader in the M was squashed it meant my player went on to bigger things. So I have to be thankful for the decision that was made as it meant I got to truly experience the VHL and the VHLE. It is unfortunate though that I won't see my name in the history books as the greatest M player of all time. Enough talking about the commissioners of the league and onto the actual league itself. The VHLM my beloved league! I will be returning soon with another VHLM lifer, well for as long as I can until I reach my cap on the number of seasons played. Hopefully this time I'm able to make a larger impression in the short while that I play there and see if it's possible to break any records without spending the entirety of your career there. San Diego is the obvious landing point with their fabulous GM Fish who has made some nice moves trying to return the Marlins to their former glory from S86 and S89. Which I will hopefully be able to aid in my time in the VHLM. There still seems to be some gaps in some VHLM rosters, so it would be good to recruit more people to the league to fill that void. But overall the league is strong, and we see nothing like the previous hounds 0-0-72 record anymore due to the decisive decisions of the commissioners ensuring that teams hold onto a minimum number of picks. This has meant the league is a lot more competitive and stops completely tanking teams and juggernauts, which has meant there's a more of a level playing field resulting in the league being even more exciting each and every season. I think the commissioners have been doing a fantastic job (give them a raise) keeping the league balanced and enjoyable for new players to learn the ropes of the VHL. Now it's just the mission of the recruitment squad to ensure that the VHLM is filled with new and energic first gens that will continue on to have fabulous careers! jacobcarson877, LucyXpher, Triller and 1 other 4 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/149153-sjin-waffling-about-the-vhlm/ Share on other sites
