jRuutu 2,475
The Davos vs Moscow game was around the halfway point when Ironhide and Gunner dropped the gloves. The fight was a close one with no clear winner. However, Gunner was seen as the one who started it all, so a fairly common event ended poorly when looking at it from Moscow's point of view. But it didn't matter. Up until the fight the game had been in Moscow's control, Davos was not able to match the intensity of Moscow, but the score was still only 2-1. Despite Gunner not being on the ice for a large part of the game after the game - much of the same continued. Moscow dominated the game and kept going. The game ended 6-1 for Moscow. Davos had only 16 shots, and Moscow had 66. Moscow Menace center Jarmo Ruutu commented on the fight after the game: "I can't blame Gunner for dropping the gloves, sometimes you just have more important things to do than playing hockey. For the fans, it's easier to leave a game as they can just get up and go, but when you are a player you need to get thrown off the game, and even then, you need to be a star player to leave the arena before the game is over. Before the third period started Gunner sent us a video of him in his Bentley driving home, he seemed to be fine. Deserved win for Moscow".
