Phoenix Push for Playoffs

 

With just 10 games left in the regular season, the Chicago Phoenix find themselves in a tight spot. At the start of the week, their playoff hopes seemed bleak, sitting in 6th place and several points out in the highly competitive North American Conference. However, a solid five-game winning streak has breathed new life into their playoff hopes, propelling them into the 5th and final playoff spot.

The Phoenix’s winning streak included a critical victory against the Calgary Wranglers, an expected victory over the D.C. Dragons, and three huge wins against a strong Moscow Menace.

Despite their recent success, the Phoenix cannot afford to relax. The remaining 10 games will be a test of their consistency as they will have some other tough matchups ahead against playoff times like the Warsaw Predators, Vancouver Wolves, Riga Reign, and Moscow Menace. However, most pivotal will be another match against the Calgary Wranglers which might just be what ends up deciding the final playoff spot.

Phoenix fans will have to hope that their team is getting hot at the right time since they will surely need it to continue making a solid playoff push.
