Advantage 2,891
CAN JENSEN FINALLY GET PAST THE FIRST ROUND? Viktor Jensen, the 1st overall selection in the S89 VHL Draft, has had a pretty solid career thus far. After the Norweigan skipped the VHLE to play nine seasons in the VHL, he has went on to amass 447 points in 432 games. He has hit 30+ goals and 90+ points three straight seasons, and has been on two Victory Cup (best regular season record) winning teams over the last three seasons. Want to know what he hasn't been over the course of his career? A playoff series winner. Jensen's lack of playoff success extends all the way back to his VHLM days. He would play in two playoff campaigns, but neither of his teams won much at all, as Jensen finished 1 goal and 1 assist in 9 games and was a -4. Since coming to the VHL, he honestly hasn't been much better. Despite having a better offensive performance, with 12 points in 14 games, his VHL teams have never won more than one game in any of his three playoff campaigns or his two VHLM ones. Additionally, he has been a -5 over those 14 VHL games. Malmo finds themselves once again in the playoffs, and while they have a good team, it has to be hard for them to wonder if they can get it done. In what will be Ash Sparks' final playoff run, the Nighthawks need Jensen to get the monkey off his back and get on fire in hopes of finally getting to Round 2.
