Player Spotlight – TIJ Davies

The Canadian born winger joined the Victory Hockey League less than a month agon on June 28^th, 2024, and quickly was able to join the playoff bound San Diego Marlins for the remainder of the VHLM regular season. Davies was able to see action in seven regular season games with the Marlins where he put up three goals and one assist, with one of the three goals being a game winning goal. Davies also suited up for all eleven playoff games the Marlins took part in, unfortunately Davies had a rougher go of it during the playoffs as he was unable to find the scoresheet in those eleven games.

 

With the off-season now in full swing, Davies now has his sights set on the VHLM Dispersal Draft. Currently Davies has 120 TPE with a few weeks to go until draft day and currently is listed as the seventeenth overall prospect available in the draft. One thing that might see Davies jump ahead of others in the draft with more TPE is the fact the youngster is close to max earning each week since joining the league, including completing one graphic and three media spots to date.

 

We wish Davies all the best moving forward in the VHL career and really hope they continue to take full advantage of weekly max TPE.
