Jacob Longstreet came over to Miami in a trade with the Saskatoon Wild. He won a Founders Cup, Chershenko Trophy, Osborne Trophy and a Higgins Trophy during his time in Saskatoon. Miami is looking to be a playoff team in S95 so naturally Longstreet was a perfect target for them to go an acquire.

Since joining Miami, Longstreet has picked up where he left off. Currently leading the league in goals and points despite being on a middle of the pack roster. He is really showing the league that last season was no fluke. Miami is in a position to be a playoff team this season and Longstreet is going to do everything he can to drag them there. He’s been a big part of why his teammates are popping off as well. Line mate Danny Ross has had a nice spike in production since playing alongside Longstreet as well as defender Saarinen who leads defenders in points in the league. Jacobs Longstreet impact is very apparent, we are very excited to see what the rest of the season holds for this dynamic (pun intended) forward.
