Last season was like a dream. My team made the playoffs for the first time in a long while, then we went on a deep playoff run. Except it ended like a nightmare. Faling short in Game 7 of the Conference Final always hurts. Add in the fact that the team we lost to won the Cup and the hurtful questions begin. The type of questions that can drive a player mad. I, Shubham Anand and the rest of my Riga Regin teammates have been answered our questions by playing like mad. We are the best team in the VHL with myself and Lucy Leitner being the best foward duo in the league. We have no plans of stopping until the moment our mission, A Cup for Riga, is complete. All others should do themselves a favor and stay out of our way.
