Thunder 1,166
Stop right here and read no further if you arent a fan of game hunting. If you are, or dont care then read on because I have found the perfect meal for a hockey player to bulk up on protein. I found this because the past two nights on my driveway camera, we have been invaded by critters that need to be gone. As cute as they are, raccoons cause a shitload of damage. Several years ago, they got into our crawl space and ruined our insulation, not to mention scared the crap out of the kids by scratching on ventilation pipes. It took about a couple months to get them out, and cost about $800 to get the insulation replaced. And of course they had babies while squatting in our crawl space. Because of this, I don’t want a repeat so I checked into whether raccoon were good eating or not. Now, I know Jed Clampett eats them when Granny cooks them, but I had to find out for myself. Turns out, they have the same quality of pork. They grill up really good and have a lot of protein, fat, and no carbs. They can be grilled on a traeger for 90 minutes, plastered with barbecue sauce, and are tasty. I wonder if I can pass it off as chicken when I cook for my wife. Bollos de Trueno is going to have a high protein, pre-game meal and will outperform in the next game. Of course, given Trueno’s performance, it won’t take much to outperform previous games, so I’m not so sure I’ll be able to compare which is better for a pre-game meal; chicken or raccoon. 282 words Smarch 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/150983-pre-game-meal-for-great-hockey-performance/ Share on other sites
