S95 Pre-Trade Deadline Interview

We are at the trade deadline in Season 95, we found time to speak with VHL Calgary Wranglers player Miner vHLer @Rhynex Entertainment, whose team is currently hanging on to a playoff wildcard spot.

 

Reporter: Hello Miner! Nice to see you again! The trade deadline if upon us, how do you feel your team is doing?

 

Mv: Hello. That's not for me to say. We're on a two game losing streak, so that doesn't feel too good, but we're right there. In it for a real battle to the end of the season. We need to keep at it and play up tempo.

 

Reporter: You've doubled your career penalty minutes in the VHL with your 4th fight of the season. You even  fought your ex-teammate and friend Chris Reynolds Jr. What's gotten to your game this season?

 

Mv: There are times when you need to pick up your team's energy level. I didn't beat up Chris so we're good. I'm not getting much done on the ice this season, so got to do it another way.

 

Reporter: What's the cause of your struggles this season?

 

Mv: The VHL is a tough league, just got to work on my game and try harder. Work harder. Lots of hockey to be played. Helping the team win is all that matters.
