Thunder 1,205
Fifty games into the season and the Vancouver Wolves are in the middle of the pack. Riding in fourth place, the Wolves are set to take a bite out of the league and dominant to the end. The pack is stacked and with Logan Ninefingers leading the team in assists and points, Rip Wheeler scoring goals, and Riley Martin knocking down hatties, the offense is sure to keep on keeping on. Mark Calaway is the rock of the defense and keeps the puck from getting to the goalies. Calaway’s leadership has been instrumental for Vancouver’s success this season, keeping Guntis Gavilrovs’ rage under control. Guntis Gavilrovs is the Vancouver Wolves heavy hitter this season. Gavilrovs has stepped up and dropped the gloves more than half of the Vancouver fights this season, and there is no slowing down. Gavilrovs has twice the number of fights as the team captain, Ninefingers, even though Ninefingers antagonizes opponents every game. Unfortunately, no matter how much mentorship Mark Calaway can provide Bollos de Trueno, nor how often Gavilrovs can show Trueno how to drop the gloves, nor how much encouragement can come from Logan Ninefingers, it appears that Trueno is afraid to get tough and go toe to toe with an opponent. 209 words Frank and Scurvy 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/151122-trueno-won%E2%80%99t-drop-the-gloves-ugh/ Share on other sites
