I like the spray effect you have along the bottom and I can appreciate a good use of background. The only real gripe that I have with the piece is that the 'of the VHL' part is a little bit hard to read with the black and could probably do with some outlining or blending just a bit. I like the addition of that phrase along the pattern, but maybe just blur it a little to match the background as well.
