For the second straight game, the Lynx suffer a 3-1 loss and the Aces inch closer to the next round. In this game, Mikey Lopez opened the scoring for Ottawa with assists from Cysteine and Brandon Petan Jr, but eight minutes later, Vegas hit right back with a Squilliam Goon rocket (Gunnarsson, Ceson). The second period was hard fought, but neither team was able to score, despite the vaunted Vegas power play getting a chance. In the third period, Ottawa looked more exhausted and Vegas' starpower really began to show. Finneas Finnegan O Cleirigh and Taavetti Jokinen scored to put the game out of reach and make the series lead 3-1 for Vegas. Both the Lynx and Aces netminders had admirable games but the shot gap was just too much for Ottawa to overcome. Gunnarsson, Deadpanda, and O Cleirigh earned the stars in this game, and we'll see whether that Las Vegas group can close it out in game 5.
