Playoff Ramblings

Riga looks to be a bit more than a runner up team. Malmo was an easy team to beat for some reason. There was no reason for Riga to dominate them, but that is how this league works. Moscow also took the fast track to the off season. Amazing talent on both teams but it didn't translate to playoff success. Playing underdog hockey in Riga has been fun and I look forward to our hardest series with Davos. Another team that has a bunch of talent and plays really well in the playoffs. I consider this the cup series. The winner will most likely go on to win the cup.

 

As of today, Saturday, the series is tied at two games each. I expect the Sunday games will be the end of the series. I am that confident in Riga to predict that. I am biased of course and it could blow up in my face. Here's to hoping we pull it out and move on to win the cup.
