Lunaro 208 Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Nicklas Karlsson was drafted by the Seattle Bears this off season and after brief discussions with his new team's management, decided he would be returning for another season in the VHLM with his junior team the Bern Royals. But before leaving North America to head back to Europe he received the call from Bern GM, Zoidberg, telling him that he had been traded along with the recently drafted Joseph Roy III to the Saskatoon Wild. Karlsson was going to be staying in North America. Now this news wasn't completely unexpected to Karlsson as he had been in contact with Zoidberg who had asked if he was open to be traded as there was little to no chance for Bern to be competing for the title this year and that many teams were interested in his skillset. Karlsson understood and agreed with his GM's assessment of the situation and gave the green light. He will miss playing for Bern as it was the place he started his VHL career and looks forward to joining the Wild as he aims for the championship on a contending team.
