  "Dear mom and dad:

 

 Soo how have you two been? Me and Davy have been good, and he has been staying out of trouble for the most part, me once having to drag him away from a slot machine when he was drunk aside. I'm sure you have heard the news, but we are staying in the VHLM for the time being. They are folding the VHLE for now at least, so we are cancelling the move to Europe. The good news is that I have been getting pretty used to Vegas, and I have avoided the casinos as much as I can. I know how much you hate gambling, mom. I bet you are thinking of Grandpa at Inkopolis casino all those years ago huh?

 

 Anyways, I am gonna be starting my practice sessions pretty soon, and the VHLM draft is coming up, so we have all been keeping our focus on that for now. I hope that me and Davy can go to Inkopolis to see you both soon, but with the drama of the offseason we have just been so busy! We'll be trying to go see you as soon as we are able to, so be on the lookout! I hope you two are excited to see me back on the ice as well.
