With only an eight game sample size, Riga has proven to be able to beat the bot teams with ease. Something that I am not crazy happy about. The winning is fine, but competition isn't there. In the couple of games we have played against fully loaded player teams, we have shown to be in the fight, kind of. This might be a season that the team will be more focused on individual stats rather than team wins, regardless of the teams we play. Maybe this is the brutal reality of the state of the league. Gunner is fine with this approach as he will have a good season no matter who we play. He was hoping for more of a repeat mindset but that is okay. We will just keep lacing them up and go out there and do our jobs. Maybe this is the season that we are collectively smoking a cigarette after a climatic cup run. I think it will be a fun season either way. I will revisit this after the twenty game mark and see which direction the team is going.

I’d much rather win than score a million points!  I think we’ll be in with a chance come playoffs and with the players we have, we could go on a run again!
