Girts 1,095
Hey look at that, the Vancouver Wolves are in 1st place with a 6-1-1 record through the first 8 games of the season! Renowned for slow starts over the last few seasons this year's Wolves team is quickly proving they are a different animal. One of the league's best teams last season they've immediately have taken it to a new level this season and everyone should take notice! Star players Logan Ninefingers and Riley Martin are leading the way on offense with 14 and 13 points respectively and Bollos De Trueno is leading the way from defense with 11 points on 8 games! Huge steps forward by all these guys and along with excellent play from newcomers King Kisslinger and Matteo Stefano are all great signs this run is sustainable. Liv Slater is producing as usual and despite a little slow start offensively by PMB, Gavilrovs, Wheeler and Thorvaldsson they are all playing a strong game and contributing at both ends of the ice. Soju is playing great in net as well! We're a little disappointed Guntis isn't scoring more or hitting more but his slightly reformed game has led to only 12 pims through 8 games which is a huge improvement. Once he gets going a bit more this team could be unstoppable! Watch out for the Wolves, they are looking like the team to beat this season.
