Halifax is home to Jon Webber III (@Webberj), a top tier VHLM goaltender. Webber III has spent his entire VHLM career with the Halifax 21st. In his time with Halifax so far he has started 139 games winning an astonishing 72% of those games. He broke Halifax’s Wins record for a goalie in S94 at 76 Wins, but recently just hit the 100 Wins mark after a 3-2 OT Win over Mississauga, where Webber III stopped 20 out of 22 shots. With this being Webber III’s final season in Halifax, as he was drafted by the Warsaw Predators 34th Overall in the S94 VHL Entry Draft, he still has time to stretch his lead in order to make his mark on Halifax last for many years. Wins however is not the only record Webber III has in his sights. If he continues to be successful this season, he very well could hold the GAA record as well as most shutouts by a netminder. On top of breaking records Webber III has also won the Benoit Devereux Trophy in S94; the way he has been performing this year could put him in contention to win another. The only thing Webber III could add to his list of accomplishments this season is a Founder’s Cup, and most likely an eventual raising of 91 into the Halifax rafters, further solidifying himself as the greatest goaltender in Halifax history.

An incredible goalie and an awesome teammate who is so reliably consistent!  I still can’t believe we got him in the 5th round 😅
