xNJDevilsFanx 133
The Start From former brothers to now professional hockey players, the Daniels' family is full of successful professional athletes. C.J's older brother, P.J, was drafted by the Chicago Phoenix with the seventeenth pick in the S83 VHL draft. He would go on to play for the Chicago Phoenix throughout his entire VHL career, with a total of 197 goals w/231 assists in seven seasons. However, the scouts didn't know he had a brother at the time named C.J Daniels. Unlike P.J, C.J Daniels was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, along with his father (Eddie Daniels) and his mother (Alena Daniels). After P.J Daniels left Austria to travel to the United States, the family moved to Denmark to get closer with their family, where he would learn hockey with his trainer, Dan. After fifteen years, C.J Daniels would fully pursue his dreams of becoming a hockey player like his brother, leaving his family in Denmark and moving into the United States. Hockey Career Before joining the VHL, C.J Daniels played hockey in high school for four years, winning a state championship and becoming the team captain of the U14 Denmark's national team. During his high school career, he had 56 goals and 44 assists in four seasons as a RW and LW. He played for the Copenhagen Lions, who was considered one of the best teams for recruiting and developing future hockey players. Everyday, C.J Daniels would visit to training facility to improve himself as a player, and as a team leader. After he graduated from Copenhagen High School, he would go take a gap year, selling gaming accounts and documenting his journey to become a hockey player on YouTube. On October 23rd, just a week before the VHLM season commenced, he entered into the free-agency pool, hoping a team would sign him/give a chance. Fortunately, two teams gave him an offer, the San Diego Marlins and the Saskatoon Wild. His brother, PJ, played for the Las Vegas Aces, scoring 23 goals and 26 assists in his first and only season as a Ace. He was left to decide what team he would choose, and with the advice from his brother, he decided to join the Saskatoon Wild. So far, he has 2 goals and 11 assists in 44 games. However, we're missing a lot of information in the middle. THE C.J Daniels Despite being blood, CJ was different from his brother. CJ was shy, not wanting to talk to anyone but focus on the goals he set for himself. future hockey players. Everyday, C.J Daniels would visit to training facility to improve himself as a player, and as a team leader. C.J Daniels loved to watch other youtubers play his video favourite video games, like VHL 24 and SBA2K25. He was a fan of challenges, as he would always use his hard earned cash to challenge one his friends to a match in ice hockey. His desire to play the game that he loved came from the beginning, with a desire to over exceed expectations every time he stepped into the field. What's next? Well, C.J Daniels has a tough road to follow when it comes to professional hockey. Compared to some of his teammates and colleagues, he's nowhere near the best player in his family. He struggles picking up on easy hints and signs on the court, and his vision is left to be desired. He's known as a working progress, someone who could blossom into a fantastic player but needs the time to learn from their mistakes. C.J. Daniels didn't have half of the experience/game-time his brother, PJ, had in Austria. P.J Daniels was the star of the show from the start of his hockey career, wowing teammates and scouts. C.J's father, Eddie, spent twenty five years become he became a professional hockey player in another league, with 1,000 appearances, over 500 goals and 350 assists in the pro league. The Daniels' family have had different measures of success, holding 6 world championships across three different organizations, they seem to consistently exceed the standard they have set for themselves and the family. The Conclusion Obviously, everyone wants to leave an impacting legacy on the hockey game, becoming one of the greatest to ever do it. However, C.J Daniels wants to leave a different impression, an impression that cements a family legacy that runs deep since 1985. C.J is the middle child in the family, and he wants to be known as C.J. Daniels, not a Daniels' hockey player. The road to the pro leagues won't be easy for Daniels', but with his wave of determination and work ethic, little by little, he will be able to kickstart his journey into greatness. Maybe, just maybe, his family will be in the arena when he plays on the biggest stage in professional hockey history. sadie 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/152670-cj-daniels-biography/ Share on other sites
