VHL Spotlight - Pelayo Bolivar

The six foot, two hundred pound Spanish born centerman had been a member of the VHL since joining the league back in September 23, 2024. Bolivar quickly joined the Halifax 21st VHLM club and has seen action for the east coast club in fifty-two games so far.

 

In those fifty-two games played, Bolivar has put up ten goals and and sixteen assists. While the offensive numbers won’t pop off the charts at first glance, you have to remember that Bolivar is playing on a Halifax club that currently finds themselves in last place in the European Conference.

 

Off the ice, Bolivar is showing how dedicated they are in their early VHL career. To date of writing his article, Bolivar has put up 178 TPE, which puts the young forward as the tenth best prospect available for this off-season VHL Entry Draft. Bolivar had been actively putting out point tasks since joining the league and in fact has a weekly podcast with a fellow draftee, Mikko Tuomala, called “All aboard”. We wish Bolivar all the best and hope VHL teams take notice of the clear work ethic displayed in the last month and a bit in the league.
