Phillip Rave has cooled down a bit over the last few weeks, but he's still in the midst of his best VHL season to date, with 36 goals and 71 points through 49 games.

"I'd like to find a little more consistency," Rave said. "It's been a good season for the most part but I don't think I've been bringing it quite at the level I can these last few weeks which kind of sucks. The EU is a battleground right now, every game, every point is huge. So it feels a little like letting your team down when you have those off nights. Just need to clean that up a bit."

"The guys are playing great, man, they're awesome. As usual. It's such a great team and I know we have a chance to win every night with these guys so that makes it easy. Eases a little pressure too when you know that when you do play poorly, you've got guys who will help you out. I'm excited to see how this last third of the season goes. I think, although I haven't always been at the top of my game, we have been playing very well as a team lately. And that's the main thing."
