Ricky almost missed opening night of the playoffs

Good day, it’s Ricky’s agent here. I have been very busy trying to keep Ricky and Bubbles @AJW in check this season as they (mostly Ricky) seem to keep getting themselves into legal troubles. 

The GM of San Diego @Mysterious_Fish and myself have been rewarded greatly for our efforts of keeping them focused on the game of hockey instead of crime, as both of the LaFleur brothers have been vital in the Marlins success.

Ricky even managed to wrack up a whopping 8 shutouts this season! It’s nice to see him stealing hockey games for his team instead of stealing car stereos or 9 cans of ravioli from the team’s bus.

Ricky hasn’t been perfect though.. and keeps getting into the odd form of trouble. He got too drunk the night before the playoffs and slept in.

If it weren’t for Bubbles going to collect Ricky and bring him all the way down to Mexico City, he may not have made it in time to play. 

Fortunately that wasn’t the case as they both arrived at the rink 20 minutes before puck drop.

Ricky was also slightly late to getting on the ice while everyone else was already skating around for their warm-up. This seemed to be very unprofessional of him as he stumbled onto the ice half drunk and stoned from the night prior..

..but we would soon find out that it was better for Ricky to be late than not show up at all. 

He went on to collect his first shutout of the playoffs and completely stole the show.

The following game he let 1 goal by him but was still strong enough to give his team a chance to get the game tying goal, and eventually Bubbles would score the game winner in the final minutes of the 3rd period.

Game 3 was another great performance by Ricky allowing only a single goal again, giving his team the chance to steal yet another game. While he played great in game 4 allowing only 1 goal yet again, his Marlins offence would be shutout resulting in a loss.

We are back in Mexico City today for game 5 but this time we made sure Ricky and Bubbles travelled with the whole team to prevent them from being fashionably late again.
