Marauder Spotlight- Bazooka Joe

This week’s Miami Marauder spotlight is on new defenseman, Bazooka Joe @ScottyP.  BJ came to Miami as a re-create and is ScottyPs 2^nd player. His first, Rip Wheeler is currently a defenseman on the Vancouver Wolves set to retire.  

 

Much like his previous player the user wants to make a solid stay at home defenseman.  This is the type of player that GMs love to find and are always welcome on teams in both the VHLM and VHL.   In Bazooka’s short 20 game stint in the Miami, he scored 2 goals 2 assists for 4 points, 9 hits and 6 blocked shots.  Not a lot of production but it’s always hard to judge considering the amount of TPE available to the player at first. 

 

Bazooka enters the VHLM dispersal draft coming up and is set to be a second rounder (based on TPE).  He is a steady mid earner that will be a solid 2^nd rounder to any team that can snatch him.
