HC DAVOS LEAN ON FIRST LINE, BACKUP GOALIE

DAVOS, SWITZERLAND - The HC Davos Dynamo are off to a fairly awesome start, playing against some of the tougher teams in the VHL, while also standing at 2nd place in the European Conference with 18 points through 19 games.

While the numbers may not stand out, they have done it without any sort of consistent play from Lennox Moher. The rookie goaltender, thought to be one of the lead candidates for Rookie of the Year before the season, has stumbled out of the gates to an 87.6% SV PCT.

However, a pleasant surprise has been the play of the back up goaltender, DAV G, who has one of the league's top save percentages at 91.9%, despite only playing in 6 games (starting 5 of those). Also playing well to start the season have been the newly acquired Keiji Toriyama, Thomas Landry, and rookie Matteo Gallo (19 points, including 3 game-winning goals).

Irregardless, the future is looking brighter and brighter in Davos.
