Lore Building - Character

I guess while I’m here, I might as well try to give a personality to Martinez! That’s something that every character needs! Character building is one of the more important pieces of a puzzle when it comes to building a character! 

 

Until Martinez reaches his 3rd year in the VHL, I wanna make him lean more on the side of apathetic and either pessimistic or cynical, maybe both! It’s mostly because of body dysmorphia/dysphoria, not exactly sure which one fits best in the case of he wants to change his whole appearance because he hates what he looks like! 

 

After year 3 in the VHL, I want him to transition over to a more friendly and more approachable person as a character, probably haunted by his younger years as a teenager since he’s, well, supposed to be a better person than when he was a teenager! 

 

It’s going to be a slow buildup though, like before year 2 ends he’s going to be a bit of a different person than he currently is, and the offseason of year 3 is going to change him drastically!
