After a hard-fought Founder’s Cup FInal that resulted in a heartbreaking loss to the Mississauga Hounds and their captain Slava Kovalenko, River Harrington of the Ottawa Lynx is now graduating to the VHL with the Moscow Menace. It has been a long-time dream of Harrington’s to make it to the big leagues and now he is about to step onto the ice this upcoming season for a consistent European Conference powerhouse. Despite having some shortcomings in the VHLM, Harrington hopes that with some guidance from his GM, team, and experience in playing with and against the best hockey players in the world, he will be able to carve his name into the history books, like the legendary hall of famer Lachlan Summers, who was signed under the same agency as Harrington. Kirby, the founder of the Halberd Hockey Agency as well as the AGM of Davos, hopes to continue developing hall of fame players and truly become a trailblazer for women in the VHL. With Summers’ success, there are high expectations for Harrington. Only time will tell.
