Bridges IV Voices Frustration in an Interview Post-Draft

Recommended Posts

Bridges IV was spoken to by media after being taken 23rd overall (3rd round) in the S97 dispersal draft by the Houston Bulls.

Media: "Alex, how do you feel about the Houston Bulls and what they have going?"
Bridges IV: "I couldn't be more happy with the new home, and I cant wait to get started on the upcoming season."

Media: "Do you feel you should've gone higher in the draft?"
Bridges IV: "I mean, yea. What else is there to say? I know I'm better than MULTIPLE people taken in that second round, and ill prove to those other GMs - the mistake they made passing on me."

Media: "If you could say one thing to all the GMs who passed on you, what would you say?"
Bridges IV: "I have the receipts saved, now I just have to return the favor during the season. Best of luck stopping me."

Media: "Two more questions here Alex, why do you think teams passed on you?"
Bridges IV: "Maybe its my personality, the draft interviews, my family legacy - who knows? The past is the past, I'm not here to reflect, I'm here to dominate."

Media: "Interesting to hear. Finally, what would you say your biggest goal is on Houston?"
Bridges IV: "Definitely pick up some wins, but I wanna prove to everyone, and Jacob [Houston's GM] that I'm a competitor and I want to win."

Media: "Thank you for your time Alex, good luck with the season."
