Toronto Legion's new General Manager Doug has made a significant trade in the VHL shaking up the team's roster. In a surprising move, Doug traded Adam Joy, Ben Laas, Kyle Toms and several draft picks ( S98 1st, S98 3rd, S99 1st and S99 4th)  to acquire two players from the DC Dragons. High-profile forward prospect Konstyantyn Shevchenko and experienced defenseman DB IV.

Shevchenko who signed a 3 season extension upon his arrival with the Toronto Legion, is known for his impressive offensive skills and potential is expected to bring a new dynamic to the Legion's aging forward line. His ability to create scoring opportunities and contribute to the team's offensive depth has made him a highly sought-after prospect in the league.

On the other hand DB IV brings a baggage of experience to the blueline as he is going on his 5th season in the VHL. His veteran presence is anticipated to bolster the Legion's defense, providing stability at the blueline.

This trade shows Doug's commitment to building a competitive team for the upcoming season. By acquiring both a promising young talent and a seasoned veteran, the Legion aims to strike a balance between future potential and immediate impact.
