It’s a new season, new year, and new attitude.  Gone is Bollos de Trueno’s hopes of dropping the gloves and getting into some tangles now and then.  I’ve come to realize that Trueno is just not going to do it.  I cant remember the last time Trueno got into a scrap.  It could have been with Bratislava, or even worse, with Saskatoon.  It certainly has not been with Vancouver.

Luckily for Trueno, at least he’s got some fighters on his team and players who want to win games.  It seems that Trueno is satisfied with letting others do the heavy lifting.  Trueno can’t even hit players like he should be doing, and he’s blocking shots at a dismal pace.  Hopefully this changes and I can enjoy the games with Trueno toughening up, but until then I’m going to just have to enjoy Guntis Gavilrovs and Logan Ninefingers going toe to toe with other tough guys.

Always willing to have a friendly match against a former teammate. Do it for the fans!
