Sakic’s Sordid Update

Welcome to another addition of VHL update. I am your host Phil Knight this is a division of KnightTime production studios and are we at 150 words yet?

 

Season 97 is well underway and Phil Sakic has been pleasantly surprised that his shooting percentage is over 5%. So far it’s over just over 7% and he finds himself 3rd in team scoring. 
 

the Sophmore started relatively hot compare to the team in general, who quickly found themselves 6th in the conference. This was a shock to most critics however, Calgary has bounced back recently, gaining 9 out of 10 possible points in the last 5 games, allowing them to leapfrog over NYA and TOR.

 

”I think we are finally finding our groove,” said Sakic after his evening skate. “We just needed to adjust to our new lines and get rid of the holiday stomachs”. 
 

there are recent rumours of a trade in Calgary that would shake up the lneup. This could be completely false but if what Sakic is saying about the sluggish start then the Stallions will need to steals some certainty about the future of their season. Sorry, I just sort of sailed away with those alliterations. 
 

regardless, Sakic remains satisfied overall with the start of season and smells success in the foreseeable future!
