Mediocrity

Lately I've been quite disappointed with Trokker's performance. It has essentially killed the passion and desire I had when I created him: the entire purpose of this player is to be the best one I've created yet, and while I've acknowledged the VHLM is just a roadbump in my hopes for his HoF and Championship potential, it's damn depressing seeing him regress with significantly more TPA. Trokker was performing better with a hundred less attribute points than he is now, and I've found myself rolling my eyes at the Marlins bone dry offence while watching our early successes diminish just as fast as our goal differential has.

 

Part of that reason is my player seems to be stuck in this realm of mediocrity and the STHS gods seem content leaving him there. It's fucking infuriating. I know he's better than two goals, an assist and the worst plus/minus on the team... or is he? I'm more or less new to the hybrid system but I still remember some of the attributes to target, so maybe it is time to change gears and start targetting strength and defence, perhaps even moderate gains in puck handling. IIRC those three attributes all play a secondary role to a primary attribute. Ah well, gotta keep grinding I suppose.
