d3vilsfire 132
Recently there have been many protests occurring in Moscow due to political strife and this has caused a lot of worry for the VHLM team, Moscow Red Wolves. Apparently, there has been an increase in security for the players and around the Red Wolves' facilities. In talks with the players and staff, the stress over these unfavorable circumstances has also increased tension between GM Bruce Wayne and the front office of the Moscow Red Wolves. An anonymous staff member of the Moscow Red Wolves stated: "I have seen GM Bruce Wayne storm out of his office on multiple occasions" said the staff member, "I am not necessarily sure why, but he seems generally agitated." Moscow can be considered a very underachieving team. Since their inception, the Moscow Red Wolves have only been to the playoffs twice (Season 39 and Season 40) and only have won one playoff series (Season 39). Since then, the team has consistently found themselves outside of the playoffs looking in. This can definitely be demoralizing for both players and fans, as they are a team that is located in such a storied hockey city. In other news, rumors of disinterest amongst Moscow management have run rampant throughout the VHLM community, though GM Bruce Wayne has constantly denied these rumors. "Apparently some people have thought that my staff and I have been neglecting our duties," said GM Bruce Wayne. "I find these rumors false and hurtful. Sure, maybe the media can not find me in the locker room, and yes Moscow has not performed as well as we would have hoped, but I am fully dedicated to my team and working towards their success." Fans have questioned GM Bruce Wayne's beliefs in his team. He has yet put together a solid playoff team while teams like the Yukon Rush have constructed a system where they contend one season and rebuild the next, but the pattern continues. Though Yukon maybe very up and down, they at least have an up. The fan base of Moscow would prefer a system like that instead of the current system of constantly being the middle of the pack or worse. "I believe that the issue is the way the VHLM is constructed," said Moscow goalie Vyacheslav Degtyaryov. "The teams are constantly changing due to it basically being the stop gap to the VHL. There is really nothing we can do to change it except maybe making draft picks untradeable?" Maybe its the challenges that come with being a VHLM team, but if Yukon can do it why can't Moscow? Anyway, I think I have bashed Moscow enough in my article, so hopefully GM Bruce Wayne and the Moscow team figure out what they are doing and maybe win a few games for a change. eaglesfan036 4,603
Well I believe you are doing the most important thing right in helping out the noobs and having an active locker room and stuff. Looks like you have quite a few picks in the next two seasons though :3 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/15412-claimeddiscord-in-moscow-final-66/#findComment-164611 Share on other sites
