SAVAISK TZESAR - BRINGING THE PAIN ONE FINAL TIME

 

Viktor Jensen was a teammate of Savaisk Tzesar back in Season 88 with the VHLM’s Houston Bulls.  Jensen was just drafted 2nd overall while Tzesar signed just as the season was starting, not technically being eligible for the VHLM Dispersal Draft until the following season.  Tzesar was a raw player that had a lot of work to do on his skating and his skills as a whole, but he had something that Jensen recognized.  “You know, he had a bit of a strange skill set.  But he had a fire to him.  He wanted to get better and not everyone has that kind of mentality.  It definitely has served him well as he has progressed all these years.”  Tzesar scored 17 goals and recorded 41 points and 119 hits that season, but it was the mentorship by his current Assistant General Manager, @AJW and some of the players on the team, like Jensen, that really set him on the right path.  From there, Savaisk Tzesar has done one thing consistently, and that is bring the pain.

 

Savaisk Tzesar is now in his seventh and final season in the VHL, all of which are with the Malmo Nighthawks.  He sits fourth all-time in the Nighthawks history in goals, ninth in assists, seventh in points, third in hits and is tied with Jensen for first in game-winning-goals.  He has hit the fourty goal mark and will end his career with five straight seasons with at least thirty goals.  He has also been a 260+ hit player over the last four seasons (topping out at 340 last season!) and he has having another absolutely dominant physical performance this season.  He has turned into a dominant power forward and while he probably will never win any individual awards, he is someone that will live in Malmo Nighthawks fame for quite some time and has been a fan favourite for a number of years.
