Titus Cunningham grew up in an area where everyone knew everyone. You couldn't cross the street where he grew up without someone knowing what you did. That's the environment that he was used to. After moving to Miami, he quickly realized how much he disliked people not knowing him. Not because he was hungry for fame, but it was a comfortable and familiar feeling for him. For the few weeks he lived in Miami there was hardly a person who knew him. He found that even the equipment manager for Miami had a hard time getting his name straight. Everything changed in the airport one day.

It was time for Cunningham to return to West Virginia. The season had ended and it was time for him to go home. He grabbed the only bag he brought with him and sat in the terminal sipping on a cup of coffee. Through the loud sipping noise he made, he faintly heard whispers from behind. He slowly turned around as a man in his mid-twenties seemed to turn away quickly. The man looked back again and caught the eyes of Cunningham. He stood up sheepishly and said, "I'm sorry to stare, but are you Titus Cunningham?"

"Yes, I am. Who's asking?"

"Oh, wow! I'm just a huge fan. I'm a season ticket holder for the Marauders and really loved watching you play the last few games of the season. I'm excited to see where you go next. Hopefully, you'll come back here!"

With that, Cunningham said thanks, shook the man's hand, took a picture, and flew back to West Virginia.
