Greg_Di 1,043
The off-season is here and most players take this time to take time off from hockey and spend time with either their familes or travelling the world. Not Roger Eagles though. Roger is back into full on off-season training to ensure he is the best he can be once the next season rolls around. This has been a consistent tradition for the Los Angeles goal keeper and what has been keeping him in tip top shape once the season starts. "This was always instilled in the Eagles family that you should keep training in the off-season and it does help" Roger said "I always feel a lot better in the first few games of the season and feel like i'm ready to go vs some other players that are just starting to find their skates. I know this doesn't work for every player but this is what works for me. I'm excited for this upcomming season as I think we should be a little more competitive and I want to ensure we start off on the right foot" The start of the season is still quite a bit away but we look forward to seeing if Roger can sneak his team into a wildcard spot next season. sadie 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/155070-back-to-training/ Share on other sites
