Greg_Di 1,042
We are just days away from the regular season and Roger Eagles is on track to return from injury for the start of the season. Los Angeles is looking to do much better this season after a rough go of it last season. "I will be ready to go and if the doctors clear me I will be expecting to be in net for game 1" Roger said "everyone is ready to go, the off-season has been great and were just ready to get back on the ice and start working on getting some more wins this season. THere is a feel of excitement in the air in the locker room and I am looking forward to it" Roger will be called on to help backstop the young Los Angeles team to more then the 16 wins they achieved last year. With more help on the defensive line this season from the up and coming prospects, Eagles, is expected to face a lot less shots which will help him be more effective in the long run. Last season he faced 2530 shots against in 60 games which was an average of 42 shots per game. "If we can get that average down to 30-32 shots per game I think we will be in good shape" Roger said " I think with team we have this season that it will be doable. While it was fun last season facing that many shots it's not something that can continue to happen if we want to be a successful team" Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/155487-calm-before-the-storm/ Share on other sites
